Vannes
and its mediaval town

Vannes is a striking city : much of its long history is echoed in its well
preserved monuments and humbler buildings whilst modernity has been skillfully
integrated . Its quays are lined with seafood restaurants and sunny café terraces
where you will indulge in farniente . There are events throughout the summer,
exhibitions, historical fêtes, the open air jazz festival, the Fêtes d’Arvor
and various concerts to please everyone’s taste. The “capital” of Morbihan
is a “must see”.
